Puppy’s Bubble Chase

Pippin Puppy’s ears perked up. Something shiny was drifting across the yard — bubbles! Round, glittery, and floating like tiny magic balloons.

“Ooh, ooh, OOH!” Pippin barked, bounding after one with a joyful leap.

POP! It vanished the instant his nose touched it.

He spun around and chased another, jumping even higher. POP! Gone again.

“Grr!” Pippin huffed, dashing faster, leaping wilder — but no matter how quick he was, every bubble popped just before he caught it.

Finally, panting and dizzy, he flopped down into the grass with a grumpy little sigh.

That’s when he noticed something. The bubbles drifting near him — the ones he wasn’t chasing — floated on and on, whole and shimmering, dancing gently on the breeze.

Pippin tilted his head. Maybe chasing wasn’t the trick after all.

So he sat very still. He waited… and waited… barely breathing.

A bubble floated closer… closer… until — boop! — it landed softly right on his nose!

Pippin froze, cross-eyed and grinning, just before it popped in a tiny shimmer of sparkles.

He wagged his tail, happier than ever. Because sometimes, the best surprises come to those who wait.

Lesson: Patience helps us enjoy little surprises.
