Lulu the Curious duck loved spending her days splashing happily in the pond. Every morning, she waddled along the water’s edge, watching the fish swim and the dragonflies fly above her head. Lulu enjoyed playing, but she never thought learning could be part of her fun day.

One sunny afternoon, Lulu’s mother asked her to walk carefully across the stones near the pond. As Lulu took small steps, she said softly, “One… two… three.” She giggled when she reached the other side. Counting made the walk feel like a game!LITTLE ONES’ CORNER-Kids Activities & Stories

Curious, Lulu began counting everything around her. She counted the ripples in the water, the green lily pads floating nearby, and even the tiny pebbles under her feet. Each number made her feel proud and happy.

Soon, Lulu invited her friends to join her. Together, they counted jumps, splashes, and steps. Everyone laughed and learned simultaneously.

By the end of the day, Lulu realized something important — learning numbers didn’t have to be hard or boring. It could be playful and joyful, just like her time at the pond.
